New Socks launched Sketch Milton Keynes to create a collaborative design community in the heart of Milton Keynes city centre.

What is Sketch Milton Keynes?

Seasoned professionals and people at the start of their careers alike, come together from a variety of backgrounds; entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs, corporates, local agencies, students and beginners.

‍Sketch Milton Keynes is a design community for Designers, Engineers and anyone looking to know more about Design. The group is backed by official partners, Sketch.

Design MK, with the help of designers from around the city, provides a chance for us to combine our skills for the betterment of our city.
‍
Every 4-6 months we run a Designathon in partnership with a local charity. Local designers unite for a day to help improve Milton Keynes.

Our first project.

So far, seven designers have signed up to design a mural in the atrium of the new YMCA building in Milton Keynes. The new building will be open to the public in 2020 and we can’t wait to unveil everyone’s hard work and creativity.
